The Holy Eucharist is the "source and summit of the Christian life." When we receive the Eucharist with the assembly of the faithful at Mass each Sunday, we are nourished for our journey in the world and are united more closely with our fellow Christians.
Children who need to receive First Communion should be enrolled in the parish Religious Education program, starting in 1st grade. (If your child is in a higher grade, enroll in the Religious Education program, and appropriate arrangements will be made.)
For adults, please contact the Parish Offices to ask about the RCIA program:

Arrangements must be made at least six months before the wedding date.
The priests of Our Lady of Good Counsel - St. Thomas More are indeed happy to assist you in arranging your forthcoming marriage. Please read these notes over carefully as they provide information on our church's vision of marriage as well as our local parish procedures.
Our Christian Vision of Marriage
In our Church tradition, marriage is much more than a human contract. It is a solemn covenant and a Christian vocation. The Christian family springs from a sacramental marriage as a reflection of the loving covenant uniting Christ with the Church. Firmly established in the Lord, the unity of marriage will radiate from the equal personal dignity of wife and husband, a dignity acknowledged by their mutual and total love. This love will manifest to all people the Savior's living presence in the world, and the genuine nature of the Church. This is realized in the Christian family by generous fruitfulness, solidarity and faithfulness, and the loving way in which all the members of the family work together.

The anointing of the sick is administered to bring spiritual and even physical strength during an illness, but there is no need to wait until the point of death to receive the sacrament. The Church wishes to accompany and pray with you during any serious illness.
For those who are homebound due to age, injury, or illness, our priests are happy to bring the Eucharist to your home as a sign of our communion in Christ and the prayerful concern of the parish.
